Questions on Light Brown Spotting? Answer Please?

I either had reddish/brown spotting about 3 weeks ago or a short period for 3 days. Now I just noticed a very faint light brown spotting (a light caramel color) just a tiny bit on my panties (like a drop or two) and not enough to really see a lot or need a pantyliner.You can just barely see it when you wipe and it seems too light to be spotting from and impending period plus it is too soon for my period again. What could this be? Just something normal or possible implantation spotting? Thanks for your replies.
