Smear at wrong time,,will result still be accurate?

Hi all, I had a smear scheduled for 7th of April,, i went for it. But I had only got my period on March 31st, lasted until April 4th. Got the results back they were clear (thankfully), but I read the leaflet in it that says it should be between day 10 and 14 from when your period starts!!! Does the fact that that I had it only 7 days after my period make the smear not pick up anything or that. Just that I'm attending a gyne for other things and am going in for a pelvic ultrasound soon, and I am wondering that if there was 'anything' there that now it could of been 'missed'....
