There is a tree starting to grow in my basement cause there is a giant hole thing. what do i do?

yes. it is true. there is a hole in my basement floor and a tree is starting to grow there! i am environmentally in love so i am not going to cut it down or the like. i think it might add a nice touch to the dull basement. it is a cypress tree. what do u think i should do??!!
