What's in a name?

Have you ever noticed that people with the same name that do not know of each other seem to posess the same types of charcteristics??? It is something I'am boggled by. How does that come to be? Is there some celestial force guiding us how to name our kin? Maybe I'am looking to hard but I can't help it when I notice same name, same set of characteristics.......and this has been something I have always picked up on and been curious about. Let me know what you think?
